Steven D. Plofker is a real estate developer, investor and attorney. His real estate projects have included historic renovations, adaptive reuses and new construction of townhouses, single-family, retail and commercial properties. Plofker is active in recreational businesses and owns an indoor soccer facility and a tennis and fitness complex.
With his wife, Bobbi Brown, he founded Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Inc., now a Division of Estee Lauder, Inc.
He is a founding Board member of the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center, an Advisory Board member of HomeCorp, a member of the Board of Overseers at the Rutgers University Foundation, President of the Livingston College Dean's Council for Rutgers University, a Board member of the Red Cross - Montclair Chapter, and a Trustee of the Montclair Art Museum.
Plofker earned his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1993. He also holds a master's degree in urban planning from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in urban studies from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
